WBHO Civils’ maiden contract in the Wind Tower domain for the manufacturing of pre-cast concrete elements for 80 no. 100m high pre-cast concrete towers. The first supply contract consisted of the production of 1 360 key stones, each 20 meters long and 6 meters wide with a maximum weight of 64 tons. This project also show-cased the successful collaboration between WBHO and the communities it interacts with; a mature understanding has been established with the Siyathemba municipality for the future use of this world-class facility, which will see both parties benefit from the use thereof.
