This project is situated next to the R547 starting at Shondoni mine and makes its way towards Sasol Secunda. It kicked off with site establishment on 2 April 2013. The work to be carried out involves construction of some 20km of overland conveyor formation including all levelling earthworks, a maintenance road with turning circles along the route, fencing with gated access to the overland conveyor servitude, pre-cast concrete underpass to provincial roads, pre-cast concrete secondary road crossings, pre-cast concrete gravel road underpasses, water crossings on Insitu constructed concrete piers and substations and a noise reduction wall.
